We are looking for outgoing, friendly, energetic, and family oriented people to join our retail sales team. If you have an active lifestyle, love the outdoors and like to work with people, this job is for you! The Retail Sales Associate will maximize selling opportunities by having friendly interactions with customers, providing product information and purchase recommendations, and ultimately closing sales.

Salary: $15 an hour plus commission. Potential for more based on experience 

Job Duties:

  • Generate sales that meet or exceed monthly targets

  • Anticipate customer needs and suggestively sell products and services to enhance the customer’s outdoor experience

  • Arrange merchandise within the store and window displays in an appealing and creative way to encourage increased sales 

  • Provide buyer/customer assistance in all areas of the retail store as needed, to ensure a friendly, positive, and professional shopping experience

  • Assist in the unloading of trucks and stocking of merchandise

  • Maintain showroom and stock areas by organizing shelves, folding and hanging merchandise according to size and style, and performing light housekeeping duties throughout the workday

  • Identify merchandise trends and make recommendations to management for new product offering

Qualifications

  • Previous retail and/or customer service work experience preferred

  • Enthusiasm for skiing and/or snowboarding desirable

  • Weekend and evening work required

Skills

  • Customer friendly, an outgoing personality, and a positive attitude

  • Observant and well organized

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team, in a fast-paced environment
