JOB REQUIREMENTS: (50%) Facilities Monitoring Monitor the condition of building equipment such as boilers, pumps, walk-in coolers, fire alarms systems, etc. Record on preprinted checklists: temperature, pressure, and other information indicating the condition of equipment. Contact on-duty maintenance worker if equipment falls outside normal operating ranges. Check doors and windows to make sure they are secure and report any destruction of property or violation of campus rules and regulations. Lock and unlock doors as directed by class schedules. (50%) Safety and Security Monitor areas for potential safety concerns. Complete surveillance rounds monitoring for concerning behavior. Request and collaborate with emergency service agencies, when need might arise. Support other college areas with safety/ security concerns. Inspect and maintain campus security vehicle. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associate degree or equivalent in a related discipline required. Two to three years\' (4,000 to 6,000 hours) of occupational experience as a Wisconsin Law Enforcement Officer preferred.
