Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. (HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Sr. Tax Analyst based in Cleveland, Ohio .

What you will do:

  • Play key role ina fast pace corporate tax department ensuring timely compliance and project execution with the goal of minimizing the company’s tax burden.

  • Pushcontinuous improvement initiatives in our tax compliance functions through intelligent adoption of cutting-edge technology solutions.

  • Collect and analyze general ledger information and coordinate tax package requests for preparation of Federal Form 1120 and corporate state returns.

  • Preparetax computationsalong with supporting workpapers and documentation for permanent and temporary book/tax differences, eliminations, and other accrual analyses.

  • Prepare corporate proformas and consolidated federal return utilizing tax software.

  • Prepare estimated tax calculations, file extensions, and initiate tax payments.

  • Support preparation of quarterly federal and state tax provision calculations.

  • Support due diligence and modeling activities for potential mergers and acquisitionsas well asrelated integration activities.

  • Perform general tax research and assist with tax planning projects.

  • Monitor and determine impacts from federal, state and local tax legislation changes.

  • Support finance transformation activities, including implementation of Alteryx and RPA solutions for accounting, planning, and tax functions.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve business related tax issues.

Who you are:

  • Exceptional analytical thinker with strong organizational and research skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communicator with the ability to simplify complex issues.

  • Someone with strong knowledge of federal, state and local tax principles

  • Growing leader with sound judgement and a desire to mentor junior staff.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree inAccounting orFinance

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in C-Corp taxation(CPA firm or public company)

  • CPA and/or master's degree preferred.

  • Strong commitment to professional excellence

Skills, Experience & Abilities

  • Experience with OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Income Tax, or other comparable tax software

  • Ability to perform tax research and reach conclusions on tax matters by use of tax code, regulations, case law, rulings, and tax commentary.

  • Exceptional skills in managing and analyzing large amounts of data

  • Proficiency with SAP, Hyperion, or similar ERP systemand Microsoft Office Suite.
