Location: 4910 Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144 Hours: Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm Location: This is a hybrid opportunity which will require 1 day in office per week. Training: Will be onsite for the first week Position Summary: A Senior Specialist on our team is key to our success. This role is responsible for highly complex operational and administrative processes and procedures across a broad spectrum of areas including: credit cards, retail banking, small business banking, consumer lending, mortgage banking, collections, recovery, origination, or auto finance. Reporting, research, data analysis, and communication skills are integral to this role. Essential Job Duties: * Demonstrates Independence, Initiative, and Analytical Ability - Administers intricate procedures, analyses, tasks, and reports while little to no instructions on the filing, recording, processing, servicing, or organizing of the documentation associated with a product or process - Identifies and resolves highly matrixed issues that do not have established guidelines. Provides service in relation to elaborate billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions, and complaints from customers - Accountable for in-depth reporting and analysis requests - Recommends and implements programs to solve complex issues * Demonstrates Leadership Skills - Reviews and ensures proper documentation or procedures are used for all activities and also checks the work of less experienced employees - Leverages creative solutions to solve compound problems - Is seen as an expert while contributing to workflow/process change or redesign and as a Subject Matter Expert across the Line of Business and to our customers - Leads by forming a strong understanding of the specific product or process - Organizes, records, process, services the production of various activities of the team. * Other duties as assigned Required Skills and Experience: * 3+ years of relevant experience with a strong knowledge of the business is required * High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or a related subject preferred * Paralegal experience is a plus! * Strong understanding of accounting principles, banking policies/procedures, loan documentation, and governmental regulations * Works well independently & with others on a fully developed team * Open-minded and adaptable to new ideas in a changing environment * Proven excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills * Proven ability to handle all customer service inquires and diffuse difficult customer situations independently * Demonstrates strong leadership skills, analytical, research, problem-solving, and decision-making skills * Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and production goals in a fast-paced environment * Proficient in 10-Key, able to perform with a high degree of speed and accuracy. * Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office365 * Complex understanding of accounting principles, banking policies/procedures, loan documentation, and governmental regulations * Proven ability to handle all monetary and processing functions independently * Advanced knowledge/experience in multiple payment delivery channels; OLDS, Lockbox, ACH, wires * Exceptional attention to detail. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $19 to $24 per hour depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience.
