JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES) * Interfaces closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Finance to support strategic global sourcing initiatives for operations for Cleveland Machine Manufacturing and suppliers to meet Lincoln expectations * Identifies and ensure supplier data is accurate in SAP to properly execute purchasing function for operations. * Leads strategic projects as it relates to supplier changes to implement E-auction awards. * Performs as the subject matter expert for strategic projects to support Global procurement for operations. * In conjunction with commodity strategies, evaluate and ensure supplier performance and goals are met. * Identify alternate parts and / or suppliers when needed to meet production schedule requirements. * Assist in achieving performance objectives of business plan to meet operational goals and targets. * Reports key measurements and take corrective actions when necessary * Participates on cross-functional teams to support strategic sourcing and operations initiatives. * Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy. BASIC REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or other technical field * Five to ten years procurement/materials/engineering experience (including education) in manufacturing environment * MBA, CPM, CPIM certification a plus * Experience in dealing with suppliers * Excellent negotiation skills (understands cost analysis) * Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills * Project management skills * Leadership skills, self-initiative * Ability to read blueprints * Problem solver * Proficiency in Microsoft Office productivity software; such as Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint * Experienced SAP user preferred * Experience in Ariba a plus Lincoln Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
