ORC is seeking a part-time, on-call, non-exempt Document Specialist based out of Ohio. The selected candidate must reside in Ohio and must be able to report to the Cincinnati, Columbus, or Cleveland, OH office 2-3 days per week. What you will be doing: As a Document Specialist you will partner with Project Managers, Assistant Managers and ROW agents in day-to-day data entry, filing activities, and document creation including acquisition documents, line lists, and landowner files. The selected candidate will be responsible for drafting introduction letters, developing offer packages, preparing scopes, and conducting market data studies. You will review and check documentation for accuracy and are responsible for final internal quality control of documents and the filing of original documents in right of way records system. The selected candidate will be responsible for a successful project close out. We are looking for someone who: Works efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines, as well as balance multiple projects by prioritizing effectively. Is responsible and demonstrates organizational and planning skills. Has a desire to learn. Is analytical and detail oriented. Has excellent written and verbal communication skills. Has to be comfortable operating in a digital document environment. Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems Valid Driver's License Bonus Points if you have experience in the Right of Way or Real Estate industry.
