DescriptionProvides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Dimensions are:1. Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. 2. Displays the mission of the hospital and its values.QualificationsLerner Tower 9 is a 30 bed Surgical adult-inpatient care division specializing in the care of solid organ transplant patients. This includes liver, kidney, and pancreas pre and postoperative patients. Additionally, Tower 9 provides care to post-op Bariatric, post-op General Surgery and Acute Trauma patients. *A $3,000 sign-on bonus is being offered to New Grad RNs who accept a position on LT9 and successfully complete their first 90 days. Position Requirements:Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (i.e. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices.Education Requirements:Diploma in Nursing, Associate in Science Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Master of Nursing (MN) from an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from accredited program preferred.Note: Spring 2020, Fall 2020 and Winter 2020/2021 nursing school graduates are eligible to apply. Education and degree verification will be required upon receiving a job offer.License Requirements:An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position.
