Genesis Corp Project Manager 2 in Cleveland, Ohio
Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT- Project Manager 2 with our client in the financial industry. This is a hybrid role in Cleveland, OH or Pittsburgh,PA. Responsibilities: Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity Manage backup, security, and user help system Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems Provide users with technical support for computer problems Managing a cost plan Risk and issue management Communicating status Change Management Running status meetings Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required or equivalent work experience 3-6 years of experience Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computer hardware and software Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc. Data Analytics, databases, data related projects is required Experience with IT Platforms Experience with Data Management and migration projects Strong project management skills Previous projects 5 million or above Strong leadership skills Enterprise or big data management experience Domain knowledge Ability to work in a program type environment Desired Skills: MBA or other related advanced degree preferred PMI or PMP certification preferred Hadoop - plus Experience with cloud based projects - plus Clarizen experience is a plus, or experience with automated PPM tool such as Clarity or other Large Scale Database and Data Analytics experience is a plus SAFe/Agile Project Management highly desired Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
