Overdrive, Inc. Project Coordinator in Cleveland, Ohio

This position will require you to be located in Cleveland, OH *We are in a hybrid schedule, 2 days on campus and 3 days WFH.*  

  

TeachingBooks is looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking person to lead our multi-state Collection Analysis Initiatives. In this role, you will be building, articulating, implementing, tracking, and documenting focused projects that equip public and school library staff to increase awareness and confidence about their children's and young adult book collections. This position requires a commitment to listening and communication, enthusiasm and creative entrepreneurship to take ownership over independent projects, and spectacular writing skills that create outreach, training, and formalized reports. Responsibilities include regularly meeting with State Library leaders to determine strategy and outreach, supporting and advocating for users of these tools, presenting remotely and in-person, and working with our web designer and programmer to proactively maintain and improve the TeachingBooks website and platform. 

 

The person who fills this role will be a key member of the TeachingBooks Implementation & Training team, reporting to the team's Manager.

*In this role, you will:? *

  • Actively fulfill all components of the TeachingBooks multi-state Collection Analysis Initiatives.
  • Act as the primary liaison between TeachingBooks, State Library staff, and additional project partners.
  • Co-develop project components in collaboration with State Library partners, including state-specific training modules and ancillary components.
  • Coordinate outreach to promote and encourage participation in each Collection Analysis Initiative.
  • Coordinate all facets of live (online) and on-demand training.
  • Provide support and technical assistance to partners and team members, including formatting of collection data in Excel.
  • Participate in the development of each state's reports and reporting tools.
  • Manage the tracking and analysis of the data to meet each state's needs.
  • Proactively collaborate with the web designer and programmer to maintain and improve the website, platform, and online tools.
  • Assist in the writing and submission of bid opportunities. 

*Ideally, you'll bring:? *

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent skills and experience.
  • 0 - 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in customer service, outreach, or sales.
  • Exceptional communication skills via e-mail, phone, Zoom and other online platforms.
  • Exceptional writing skills, preferably familiar with crafting training and marketing materials.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Experience managing, accurately maintaining, and analyzing information.
  • Interest in project management.
  • Curiosity about educational technology.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Comfort working collaboratively and independently.
