Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 8:00 - 4:30

Founded in 1837, Cuyahoga County’s safety-net health system operates four hospitals, four emergency departments and more than 20 health centers.

Summary:

Manages the operations of the School Health Program (SHP). Develops and maintains relationships with school and community partners. Provides operational and clinical oversight across SHP services. Manages and operates varied and complex community health initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with current State of Ohio Registered Nurse Licensure. Certification in Nursing and or related health care discipline. Five years of professional RN clinical experience. Demonstrated success and experience developing virtual or mobile clinical care modalities Excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to establish and cultivate productive and positive working relationships with a wide range of partners, including MetroHealth Senior Leadership and staff, patients and families, external clients, and community constituents. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience making presentations across a wide range of audiences and modalities. Experience with developing detailed proposals for service offerings. Demonstrated ability to identify and effectively resolve problems/issues. Demonstrated ability to embrace and lead a team through change initiatives and to adapt to quickly evolving situations. Demonstrated strong critical thinking, abstract thinking, and analytical skills. Demonstrated competence and experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications. Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends. Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred: Master's Degree in a related field.

Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. A high degree of physical coordination and finger-hand dexterity. Ability to lift 250-300 pounds with assistance. Ability to push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids. Requires some exposure to chemicals and cleaning products. Ability to communicate face-to-face, by phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job-related documents. Ability to use a computer.
