  • Effectively communicate all maintenance issues to all the team members.
  • Accurately diagnose maintenance problems with sufficient detail and recommend root cause solutions.
  • Manage maintenance activities that occur and report problems with recommendations to the Production Manager promptly.
  • Organize and maintain an adequate parts inventory and supply.
  • Maintain a preventive maintenance program to ensure that all machinery is working at top performance.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records of all machinery and building repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure all safety procedures are being followed (lockout tag-out, Haz-mat, confined space).
  • Implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) rules and regulations.
  • Regularly inspect equipment and facility and issue work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement as necessary.
  • Assist with hands on repairs and maintenance of blending, filling and packaging equipment, as required.
  • Implementpreventative maintenance program for all equipment to limit the potential for production downtime.
  • Coordinatethe installation and testing of new production related equipment.
  • Assist with facility maintenance and facility contractors as necessary.
  • Understand the facility's Pre-requisite and Food Safety Programs, including but not limited to Food Defense, BBP, Glass, and Brittle Plastic, Chemical Control, GMP, Allergen, Shipping, and Receiving, etc.
  • Performother duties, as assigned.

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or University/Technical School or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ten (10) plus years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in a food and beverage production environment is strongly preferred.
