Junior Software Engineer I ID 2024-1644 Job Locations US-OH-Dayton | US-OH-Springfield | US-OH-Columbus | US-OH-Cleveland | US-OH-Cincinnati Remote Yes Overview Woolpert is seeking a Junior Software Engineer with C# and .NET experience. This position collaborates with other developers and engineers to work with full life cycle delivery of systems to enable data synchronization between on-premises Computer Aided Mass Appraisals (CAMA) systems and the CAMA Cloud platform. Data integration technologies include common relationship database management systems (RDBMS), DB2, and application programming interface (API) based systems. This position writes and debugs current operational systems along with looking for process improvements. Responsibilities * Collaborate with other developers and engineers to design, build, and maintain applications. * Build applications for various platforms using common frameworks including .NET * Write and debug code. * Troubleshoot software issues. * Provide on-call support as necessary. * Propose solutions to novel engineering problems. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. * Minimum of 1 years of related experience in software engineering. * Experience with Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, vSphere, or similar platform. * Experience in C# or VB.NET with .NET framework 4.5 or higher and .NET Core. * Experience with ANSI SQL. * Experience building backend services, including Windows Services. * Experience with ETL patterns, practices, and tools. * Experience with version control patterns and practices (Git preferred). * Experience troubleshooting and debugging remote distributed systems. * Proficient written and verbal English communication skills. Preferred Skills: * Experience building and deploying production-grade distributed solutions in a virtualized and cloud environment such as AWS. * Experience with modern Javascript/Typescript. * Experience with patterns and techniques adding tests to code to enable safe enhancement and refactoring. * Experience working with workflow tools such as ELSA (https://elsa-workflows.github.io/elsacore/) or similar.
