Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opening for a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Analyst in our Security Department in Cleveland-Cliffs HQ, based in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leveraging data analytics to improve security protocols, identify security trends across the company, and promote a culture of health and well-being. This role will focus on identifying trends in insider risk as well as determining the company's exposure to external criminal activities. This data will help drive insights and strategic decision-making across the company. Summary of Responsibilities: Conduct deep dive analyses on injury and incident data, identifying patterns, trends, and root causes. Design and develop advanced reports and dashboards to present data insights in a clear and actionable manner for senior management and stakeholders. Collaborate with security and safety managers and officers to understand the specifics and nuances of recorded data. Recommend and implement data-driven solutions to mitigate risks and improve security in the workplace. Evaluate and refine data collection processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of the security data. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of implemented security measures using quantitative metrics. Work closely with IT and software teams to optimize data storage, retrieval, and reporting capabilities. Provide training and guidance to security team on data interpretation and utilization. Stay updated with the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in security data analytics. Assist in the preparation and presentation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual security performance reviews Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, criminal justice, intelligence analysis, or a related field 3 years' experience in data analytics Proficient in data visualization tools like PowerBI and statistical software like Python Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion Knowledge of security requirements and safety regulations/standards is a plus Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in data science, statistics, criminal justice, or a related field. 5 years' experience in data analytics in security or a related industry.
