Here's what you will do: Respond to inquiries from management and employees on human resources issues to ensure company and business unit programs, policies and procedures are administered in a consistent and legal manner. Collaborate and working with management and others in human resources community to develop strategies and plans to address needs identified. Assist in integrating human resources strategies and plans with business plans. Coordinate administration of human resource programs such as succession and workforce planning, test administration, transfer/relocation policy interpretation, staffing/position posting system, performance management, compensation/salary administration and pay for performance processing, leadership training, co-op, and minority scholarship programs, etc. Provide tools to address a variety of moderately complex to complex HR issues and initiatives including compliance, employee relations, investigations, equitable and consistent treatment of employees, change management and problem resolution. Gather and compile data, performing analysis and making recommendations. Provide interpretation of union contract to line management and attending and participating in grievance process by providing input and advice to management and employees. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to meet organizational needs. Identify and drive the sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement. Who You Are: You have: A Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of directly related knowledge and experience OR an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education. Preferred Disciplines include but are not limited to the following: Business Human Resources Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above, including but not limited to: Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description, such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience include: Strong working knowledge of performance management, employee relations, pay and staffing trends and practices. Knowledge of company organizational structure. In depth knowledge of company policies, programs, procedures, and relevant government -regulations. Strong planning and organizational skills.
