Job Description

The purpose of this job is to help drive business profitability, sustainability, and growth as the Merchandising Agile Service Team Member.

  1. Serve as the gatekeeper for store layout integrity, agile space optimization, and retail organization

  2. Review and correct Plan O Grams weekly

  3. Perform major Plan O Gram resets

  4. Execute monthly Plan O Gram updates

  5. Verify pricing and signage execution

  6. Provide inventory transfer support and manage returns

  7. Local/Regional activity and competitor review

  8. Responsible for merchandising activity previously executed by 3rd party vendors

  9. Support store team’s vendor management processes

  10. Assist with the accuracy of item level inventory

  11. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level

  12. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

  13. Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  1. 75% travel required

  2. Must live in the Midwest region of the United States

  3. High school diploma or equivalent certificate required

  4. Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience preferred

  5. Minimum one year marketing, merchandising, or hospitality management experience required; Pilot Flying J experience preferred

  6. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

  7. Experience using an electronic inventory management system within context of store operations

  8. Ability to work with a diverse team

  9. Ability to manage time and work within deadlines

  10. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and vendors

  11. Strong written and verbal communication and listening skills

  12. Ability to make travel arrangements and plan for work trips
