The Sherwin-Williams Company Enterprise Account Executive - Client Specification in Cleveland, Ohio

There is a preferred candidate for this position. Supporting Enterprise Clients by providing technical and color specification support, ensuring specification across all product lines Responsible for creating internal SHW project specifications and connecting project information to all SHW Divisions and sales team to drive gallon growth Supporting Internal Sherwin-Williams component strategy Assist in managing lead source opportunities to the field (i.e. Material Bank) Learn and specify Factory Applied Metal Coating SHW products: Coil, Extrusion and Powder (Divisions 5,7,8) Completed CDT and LEED certification Provide technical and color support for architects, specifiers and commercial interior designers Educate architectural community and SHW teams on Sustainability and industry programs- LEED, MPI and WELL Additional Key Responsibilities Work with each Enterprise Sales Director and identify specification targets within their group of assigned Clients. Develop and execute a Strategic Plan designed to identify key Client stakeholders, build relationships and work towards gaining desired specification positions for any/all maintenance and capex projects. Make revisions and updates as necessary to achieve specification and market share growth Demonstrate high level of negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Represent Sherwin-Williams at national industry organizations. Work with Enterprise Clients, architects and specification writers to illustrate SW's strengths and competitor weaknesses, particularly in regards to Master Painters Institute (MPI). Maintain disciplined pre-call planning to ensure time is maximized and the territory plan is being executed. Provide product/technical information to support Enterprise Clients' specification requirements. Identify potential opportunities/issues and work with Enterprise Sales Directors to support positive outcome. Identify ways to deepen the business relationship with customers. Maintain membership and active participation in key professional organizations such as CSI, ICRI SWRI and others. FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Marketing, Business Management/Administration or a technical field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: Five years or more of successful experience in architectural building product sales or specification support is required. Experience selling into architecture firms required. Demonstrate ability to build high-level firm relationships Effective leadership skills and demonstrate ability to direct internal and external teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of the field, divisional and group management Preferred: Experienced PSG Architectural Account Executive or PCG Coil Account Executive TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required: Architectural, Building and Construction, Steel, Aluminum or related industry experience required.
