MetroHealth Dining Services Aide - Food Services Patient; 40 Hrs; Evenings in CLEVELAND, Ohio

Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 40.00

Shift: 4p-8p, Rotating Weekends & Holidays

As a member of our Dining Services team, you will support our patients and caregivers by preparing and serving restaurant-quality meals in our state-of-the-art facility. In this role, you will perform a variety of food service duties to provide quality food for the satisfaction of our patients/customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates ability to read and write English

  • Demonstrates ability to perform basic math computations

  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam

Physical Requirements:

  • May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.

  • May need to sit or stand for extended periods.

  • See in the normal visual range with or without correction.

  • Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.

  • Ability to climb intermittently during the day.

  • Ability to push/pull/lift 100-300 pounds.

  • Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.

  • Requires some exposure to chemicals and cleaning products.

  • Requires exposure to warm and cold temperatures.
