Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 8am-4:30pm

Summary:

Organizes the clinical work for assigned patient population(s), and coordinates activities for the Infectious Diseases Division and related programs as directed by management. Must be skilled in the provision of patient engagement and therapy for adolescents and adult patient populations. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required: Master's Degree in Social Work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Possess a current Social Work licensure for the State of Ohio or obtains licensure by next exam period. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred: Demonstrated clinical skills with individuals and groups. Bilingual preferred. 2 years of post-master’s experience working with patients as a clinical Social Worker. Experience managing a case load of patients.

Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
