CFO job - Manufacturing Paint/Coatings - Cleveland, OH - JOB 24-00494 Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 Permanent Position with Benefits. Ideal candidate will be someone with experience in Manufacturing or Paint/Coatings Industry. The primary purpose of this position is to direct and oversee the company's accounting operations, financial activities, and administrative systems. Essential Functions: • Direct and prepare all financial statements, including budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, government agency reports, etc. • Oversee month-end, quarterly, and annual closing of accounting and administrative systems. • Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and investment transactions in conjunction with preparing reports for management. • Analyze financial and administrative systems, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry policies, best practices, and state and federal regulations and guidelines. • Assist and oversee annual financial and 401(k) reviews and work with external third- party administrators and auditors. • Oversee investment of funds and cash management and maintain excellent relationships with bankers. • Facilitate and oversee the support of financial and administrative systems and applications, ensuring effective and helpful support is provided to end users. • Ensure projects and tasks are completed within specification, on time, and within budget. • Review all contracts, agreements, and business legal documents to ensure validity and compliance. • Engage and consult with legal and professional support when required. • Manage product costing according to company processes and procedures and collaborate with sales on pricing and margins • Upgrade, implement, and test the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. • Compare sales profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; make or oversee any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets. • Collaborate closely with the President and key personnel to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process. • Supervise and manage administrative office personnel. Skills / Abilities: • Excellent management, supervisory and interpersonal skills • Excellent organizational and analytical skills • Excellent in verbal and written communication • Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with particular attention to detail • Proven ability to develop and maintain budgets and forecasts • Strong computer aptitude including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Power BI and pivot tables • Proficient with or able to quickly learn the administrative and financial systems and applications used in the organization • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems • Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and company policies • Maintain a safe, neat, and orderly work area in accordance with all safety and environmental regulations Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
