JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES) * Perform administrative duties for the department and department members. * Create and maintain MS Office Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files as needed/assigned. * Process Customer Purchase Orders in SAP. * Gather data, records and generate various reports as required. * Provide assistance for Work Instructions and maintain Work Instruction process for the department. * Coordinate on assigned orders manufacturing, testing and certification, including issuing of manufacturing instructions, testing instructions, and preparation of certification documents. * Order and maintain office supplies used in the department. * Provide support for WELD team as needed. * Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy. BASIC REQUIREMENTS * Administrative Assistant: 3+ year's relevant experience Minimum high school education; Associate degree preferred. * Senior Administrative Assistant: 5+ year's relevant experience Minimum high school education; Associate degree preferred. * Must be professional in presentation and communications. * Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with all levels of the organization. * Must be able to do general math well enough to keep the records associated with this job. * Ability to handle information accurately and in a confidential manner. * Completes a variety of atypical assignments, and is capable of multi-tasking. Proposes improvements to processes. * Preferred to be able to understand and interpret industrial specifications and procedures (such as ASME, AASHTO, military, specific customers, etc.). * Preferred to have a working knowledge of Consumable Division Special Order procedures, products, and systems. * Computer proficiency, including use of Microsoft Office, SAP and other software. * Must be self-motivated, and dedicated to safe work practices and product quality. * Selected candidate's Job Level and Pay Grade will be determined based upon qualifications and experience.
