MetroHealth Child & Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatrist in CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio

The Department of Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University and The MetroHealth System, is seeking board-certified (or board eligible) Inpatient and Outpatient child and adolescent psychiatrists to provide clinical care, teach residents, medical students and other learners. The position comes with a faculty appointment at Case Western University at appropriate level. There will be opportunity for academic and career development at the largest medical research institution in Ohio. The MetroHealth system is ranked nationally among top 1% hospitals.

The department has relocated to a brand new 112-bed Behavioral Health Hospital in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Department has plans to develop novel clinical and academic programs. We are therefore particularly interested in candidates with academic interests and experience in somatic treatment modalities. Physician-scientists will get protected research time if they bring extramural funding and the protected time for promising candidates will be decided on case-to-case basis. All candidates will get appropriate mentoring and support for academic advancement.
