MetroHealth Assistant Nurse Manager -Dual Diagnosis Psych Cleveland Heights in CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio

Location: MetroHealth Behavioral Health Hospital- Cleveland Heights

Bi-weekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 11a-9:30p/3p-11:30p; Rotating 3rd weekends, Rotating 3rd holidays

Today, our Behavioral Health Center will change how mental health services are delivered in Cleveland. Our new facility is located in Cleveland Heights and is intentionally designed to meet the needs of patients.

Join our Behavioral Health Dual Diagnosis Disorder Unit!

Primary Patient Population:

  • 18+ years old

  • Primary mental health concern and secondary substance abuse disorder

Primary skills utilized/learned:

  • Assessment Skills

  • Therapeutic Listening

  • Verbal De-escalation

  • Crisis Management

  • Relationship Building

  • Milieu Management

  • Group Programming Facilitation

Personnel RN will work with :

  • LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Providers, Psychologists, Behavioral Health Specialists (BHS), Social Workers

Number of beds on unit:

  • 20 beds

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio

  • Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN

  • Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
