Job Description

The Alcohol Compliance Coordinator is a professional who ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and laws for events at Clemson University.

Job Responsibilities

  • Proper ordering, delivery and inventory control of all alcohol.

  • Monitoring the organization's compliance with all industry regulations, as well as local and state laws.

  • Ensuring that all employees are properly trained on compliance issues.

  • Developing and implementing company compliance policies and procedures, including license and permit compliance.

  • Provides training, tools and support for on-site staff.

  • Maintaining the security of people and/or property in assigned areas.

  • Assisting clients, customers and visitors to and on event site.

  • Enforcing site regulations, reporting safety hazards, assisting with traffic control.

  • Monitor availability of alcohol

  • Work with industry/retailers to train employees on their legal responsibilities and obligations to verify age when selling age-restricted products to ensure responsible beverage service.

  • Hours need to be flexible, to include weekends, holidays, and various other event days. Hours will vary based on event schedules.
