What you’ll do…

  • You will, with guidance, perform tasks associated with the upgrade and splicing of Copper Cables (Copper 710 Splicing)

  • You will, with guidance, maintain proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignment

  • You will assemble equipment according to design specifications

  • You will test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation

  • You will maintain proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignment

  • You will assemble equipment according to design specifications

  • You will install/repair Fiber lines in trenches and/or pedestals using various hand tools

  • You will prepare paperwork to track daily production, and accurately record completed work on job site blueprints

Qualifications

Who we are looking for…

  • You will have 0-1 or more years experience as a cooper splicer with experience on outside plant or system installations while working from blueprints, specifications, and system documentation

  • You will have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You are able to lift up to 80 lbs
