Universal Health Services MAINTENANCE TECH in CLEARWATER, Florida

Responsibilities

Windmoor Healthcare has an excellent career opportunity for an Maintenance Technician (Part Time) to join our team of dedicated professionals. The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:

•Assists the Supervisor in planning and performing preventive maintenance on all buildings and equipment.

•Repairs the buildings and equipment as needed due to failure or routine deterioration.

•Takes immediate action on any safety issues within the facility to endure resident and staff safety.

•Reports any maintenance issued to the Maintenance Supervisor that cannot be repaired by Maintenance Department.

•Inspects all electrical equipment yearly for safety and compliance with hospital standards, state licensing and TJC.

•Assists the Supervisor with implementing and enforcing safety and fire policies and procedures by conducting safety inspections and fire drills. Assists with staff training as needed.

•Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Job Requirements

•Must have High school diploma or equivalent.

•Must have at least two years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hospital setting.

•Must be able to demonstrate experience in all of the following areas: electrical and distribution systems, plumbing, heating and air conditioning water and sewer systems, gardening and landscaping, powered equipment, automobiles and safety and fire protection.

•The candidate must be able to be on-call and answer any calls for service/ emergencies during weekends, holidays, days, and nights.
