KBR Digital Transformation Architect-Model Based System Engineering in Clearfield, Utah

Title:

Digital Transformation Architect-Model Based System Engineering

Do you like solving problems, no matter how large or how complex? Our Avionics and Systems Engineering group is offering a challenging variety of projects to support our customers across multiple military aircraft. We are currently looking for a Digital Transformation Consultant to join our team to support projects on the F-16 for the USAF.

Role and Responsibilities:

As part of a team, you will:

  • Define the Model Based Systems Engineering Strategy for the F-16 and generate standards, policies and processes to support the implementation of the strategy

  • Solve complex problems to meet team goals as well as interfacing with government and sub-contractor personnel in a team environment.

  • Provide expertise to USAF Customers in support of Digital Transformation efforts

  • Act as the focal point between the USAF Customers and KBR experts across the Globe

  • Represent KBR on USAF Customer sites

  • Research and develop Digital Solutions to meet USAF Customer needs

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience to include 5+ years’ experience in Digital Engineering Data Management, Engineering Governance, Policy and Process, Digital Tool deployment or Digital Transformation Consultancy

  • Proven history of developing and deploying MBSE Solutions into an Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering, math, computer science, or other technical discipline from and ABET Accredited Institution or equivalent experience in lieu of education

  • Experience developing execution strategies and plans in support of organizational change

  • Ability to write formal engineering reports and construct briefing materials using MS Office tools such as Word, Power Point and Excel

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance. US Citizenship is required.

Desired Experience:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance

  • Detailed knowledge of the Engineering Lifecycle

  • Knowledge of U.S. Government, DoD, USAF, USSF, USN, and/or US Army technology

  • Knowledge of DoD Acquisition and Sustainment

  • Military aviation systems experience

  • Experience of Model Based Systems Engineering

  • Knowledge and experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)

  • INCOSE CSEP
