How well are you at problem solving? Taking on this position includes solving problems and helping employees with all their HR-related needs promptly so our employees' time and focus can be returned to looking after our clients! This position focuses on onboarding new hires and is responsible to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new employees. You serve on a team of other Employee Resources professionals as a point of contact for anything and everything HR-related and are responsible for carrying out Employee Resources initiatives and doing the work to ensure we successfully hit our individual and annual ER goals.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

To perform this job optimally, an individual must perform each essential job requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. A secondary education degree in human resources, business, or a related subject area is preferred. Equivalent to at least 2 years of professional experience, preferably as a HR business partner, HR all-rounder, or similar role, is required. Successful completion of required background checks is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Must possess professional communication and social skills to write and speak optimally both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization for consideration. Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively.

 

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to utilize telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use. Prior experience or the ability to learn HRIS, Benefits Administration, Payro l, and other programs pertinent to performing job duties will be greatly appreciated by all.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Additional suggestions include apprehension of compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

REASONING ABILITY: The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Solving exciting problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Representative of those that must be met by an employee to optimally execute expectations of this job.

 

This position operates in a professional office environment with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Note the constant communication and interactions with those in the same department. Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
