Actalent Controls Engineer in Clayton, North Carolina
Description:
The facility is a 457,000 square foot aseptic "fill and finish" site that is responsible for producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. When you work here you will join a global network of manufacturing professionals focused on several key, final production processes, including sterile formulation, filling, inspection, device assembly and packaging.
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS in engineering/related field or equivalent combination of experience & education required or may consider an Associate's Degree
Engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utility, &/or packaging systems required
Experience troubleshooting automation & control systems & batch processes preferred
Experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred
Knowledgeable in the following: PLC, SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL a plus
Proven expertise, (e.g. project management) in planning/organization & project execution, follow-up, & completion a plus
Skills:

• Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction
• Ability to work the hours necessary to support a 24/7 continuous manufacturing operation
• Ability to adjust schedule to work with colleagues in other time zones, if necessary
• Ability to travel internationally & domestically, as necessary
• Routinely operates & inspects manufacturing equipment using hands
