Title: Payroll Coordinator

Location: Hybrid - Remote/Clark, NJ Office 1-2 times per week

Type: Full-Time

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

About the Role

As a Payroll Coordinator, the ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, take initiative and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines.

What Youll Do:

Prepare and process weekly and bi-weekly multistate and Canada payroll for union and non-union employees.
Collect and verify employee timekeeping data.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant government regulations including federal, state, and local payroll wage and hour laws. Review and ensure multistate tax jurisdictions are properly coded.
Record and maintain payroll transaction records and handle discrepancies.
Oversee maintenance of payroll records and files, including but not limited to, sick time, vacation time and other accrued leave.
Respond to routine inquiries concerning payroll deductions and accruals, wage garnishments, and child support payments.
Oversee and maintains ADP payroll system. Stay updated on system upgrades and enhancements to optimize payroll processes and ensure data accuracy.
Reconcile payroll records and resolve discrepancies or errors.
Prepare weekly payroll reports for tax liabilities, employees benefit deductions, and 401K.
Assist with special projects and perform additional duties assigned by management.
Provide outstanding customer service daily for any payroll related issues.
