Adecco US, Inc. Inventory Control Claremont in Claremont, New Hampshire

Adecco Staffing is working with one of the America's few remaining, family-owned smokehouses to fill an Inventory Control position on 1st shift! These are temp-hire positions.

Pay Rate:

  • $19.00/hour

Hours :

  • 1st Shift: Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 5:30pm; some Saturdays

Job Overview:

Work directly with management to bring them up to date regarding stock inflow and outflow

Compile inventory information and present it to management

Review balance of inventory and count the items in stock

Pick and pack orders

All in compliance with the standards of wholesomeness, hygiene, health & safety at work .

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gain an understanding of the programs for shipping

  • Visually check work after completion for cosmetic appearance and noticeable defects

  • Move product and material as required in performance of duties

  • Maintain necessary records

  • Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean, orderly, and operable condition

  • Assist with cleaning the area at the end of the shift

  • May be assigned to different workstations as production needs require.

  • Cross train in mail order as backup

  • Gain the basic knowledge of the process and procedures to process and ship orders

  • Ability to adapt promptly to any change in working condition and to get problems resolved without delay

  • Ability to perform effectively even when under work pressure

  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to comprehend written materials easily

  • Ability to relate across departments connected to the warehouse, and with other members of staff within working environment

  • Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and get them resolved

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D

  • Relevant experience in warehouse

  • Experience with warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.)

  • Good computer skills

Position Requirements:

  • Able to work in a cold/hot environment

  • Wear bump cap, earmuffs, safety boots

  • Able to read and interpret orders

  • Able to operate computer

  • Follow and promote safe work practices
