*SUMMARY: *Assemble, pack, and install all Rogers Group products at the customer location or on the Plant floor.

 

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *

The responsibilities listed below are not intended to be all-inclusive.  Additional duties may be assigned on an as required basis.

  • Simple and complex assembly of parts according to the work order, prints, and knowledge of the unit being assembled.
  • Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
  • Operates hand drills, tools, and rivet machines to assist in assembly operations.
  • Records all labor and downtime, documenting all information pertaining to each work order and routing.
  • Maintain all company safety regulations to provide a clean, accident free, and healthy work environment.
  • Assures that the proper fit, function, and appearance are at, or exceed quality standards.
  • Confers with Manager, Team and Crew Leaders on any problems regarding safety, quality, production or inventory.
  • *Requirement: available to travel to installation locations throughout the US at any time necessary to meet customer demands. *
  • Must complete certification criteria for TSI, Rogers Athletic and StageRight installation.

*Qualifications:  *To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  • High School Education or equivalent certification.  
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints.  
  • Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.  
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, decimal equivalents, and proportions to practical situations.  
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of issues which occurs in the daily assembly process.  
  • Ability to problem solve, think analytically and work under pressure.  
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or work order form.   
  • Agility of the upper and lower body extremities, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. 
  • Prefer three (3) years of assembly/installation experience on Rogers Group product line.
