POSITION TITLE:               

CTE Math Consultant- 1.0 FTE                     

 

LOCATION:                         

Clare-Gladwin RESD Career & Technical Education programs  

 

REPORTS TO:                     

Director of Career and Technical Education                  

 

WORK SCHEDULE:            

Full-time; 185 days, per the CTE school calendar                              

 

SALARY:                              

According to the Terms of the Master Agreement for AFT                                 

 

STARTING DATE:               

August 12, 2024          

 

JOB OBJECTIVE:

To provide targeted math instructional support to students that aligns with Career & Technical Education (CTE) academic content standards. This will be accomplished through co-teaching with CTE instructors and providing direct Algebra II content instruction to four CTE programs.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Teaching certification/licensure in Mathematics or relevant subject area.
  • Three (3) years of experience teaching mathematics at the high school level, preferably in a CTE setting.
  • Strong understanding of Algebra II curriculum standards and proficiency in teaching related concepts.
  • Knowledge of personal finance principles and their integration into math education.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and data analysis tools.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
