  • Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate benefits open enrollments, changes, training employees on benefits programs, and administers benefits billing.
  • Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
  • Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
  • Administer new employee on-boarding and orientation.
  • Develop and maintain talent management processes.
  • Participate and/or facilitate employee relations investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain employee personnel records.
  • Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Two or more years of demonstrated experience in the human resources field, with emphasis on employment, employee relations, leaves of absence, and benefits - preferably in manufacturing

Must have strong planning and organizing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

Proven effective oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills
