Description We have a client in need of organized and self-driven accounting professionals in order to succeed in this deadline-driven role with minimal supervision. This Bookkeeper role will be located in the City of Industry, California area and will be a permanent position. The Bookkeeper will manage accounts payable, reconciliation, month-end closing, and accounts receivable. Furthermore, the Bookkeeper will manage a general ledger reconciliation or light journal entries, full cycle A/P coding, cash applications, and perform data entry. Submit an application today!

How you will make an impact

  • Uphold a general ledger

  • Assemble monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

  • Create cash flow projections, as needed

  • Maintain Accounts Payable

  • Prepare subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

  • Oversee monthly accounting close

  • Familiar with Accounts Receivable

  • Work on special projects occasionally

  • Catalog sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

  • Knowledgeable in credit card management and reconciliation

  • Verify monthly accounting close Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well

  • Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

  • Remarkable analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

  • Sound written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

  • Deep understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Experience with ADP - Payroll

  • Well-founded grasp of Human Resources (HR) Administration

  • Basic Bookkeeping experience

  • Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred

  • Knowledge of bookkeeping

  • Proven knowledge of QuickBooks

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

    • Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper in the manufacturing industry
