Please note that salary ranges are calculated based off levels of: relevant experience, education and certifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Ensures the compliance of all Center activities with DCOP’s (Donor Center Operating Procedures) and other Company standards and protocols to meet the regulatory requirements of the FDA, EMEA, Customer Specifications and other regulatory bodies asrequired.

  2. Directs and supervises donor center employees to maintain quality assuranceprocedures.

  3. Trains employees to maintain daily centeroperations.

  4. Ensures that professional customer service skills, courtesy and respect are utilized by center staff to maximize donorretention.

  5. Identifies all potential, serious or chronic problems affecting quality ofcompliance.

  6. Performs opening and closing duties in absence of Center Manager or AssistantManager.

  7. Is certified in Screening, Donor Floor, Processing, Shipping andReceiving.

  8. Ensures timely response to alarms and assists in maintaining alarmsystem.

  9. Assists management team in educating new donors on different SpecialtyPrograms.

  10. Assists in maintaining inventory levels of soft goods and supplies, stocking supplies and opening and closing lots forusage.

  11. Communicates with management regarding pertinent information regarding workareas.

  12. Assists management team by preparing weekly staffing schedules to accommodate breaks, vacation and unplanned absences to determineoptimal allocation ofstaff.

  13. Identifies areas of continuous improvement for operationalareas.

  14. Maintains cleanliness of work areas to ensure a clean and professionalenvironment.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.

  2. Available to work flexible and/or extendedshifts.

  3. Possesses excellent work ethic, communication and organizationalskills.

  4. Occupational exposure to blood-bornepathogens.

  5. Demonstrated basic knowledge of computer equipment, andsoftware.

  6. Demonstrated accuracy in completingdocumentation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  1. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

  2. Ability to tug, lift, and pull up to fifty (50)pounds.

  3. Be able to bend, stoop orkneel.

  4. Occupational exposure to blood bornepathogens.

  5. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use handsto handle or feel objects, tools orcontrols.
