EMSL Analytical Inc. Laboratory Technician (Materials/Combustible Particles) in Cinnaminson, New Jersey
EMSL is currently seeking a Laboratory Technician (Combustible Particles) in its Materials Science department in Cinnaminson, NJ. This role is hands on providing testing for various particles for combustibility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Testing dust particles for various properties (particle size by sieving, milling for size reduction, moisture, ash)Utilize specialized equipment to determine dust combustibility according to established ASTM and OSHA methodsResponsible for equipment maintenanceInteract with both internal and external customers to understand the requirements and planning for work flowSummarize the analytical data upon completion and generate final reportsRequirements:Associated Degree and/or Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Geology, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Metallurgy Zero to three years' laboratory experience is preferredExcellent communication skills and the ability to multi-taskEffective verbal/written communication skills, be well organized, and be self-motivatedWork well independently and with a teamMust be able to distinguish colors in order to perform the analysis.Be able to lift a minimum of 40 poundsPosition requires bending, lifting, reaching and standing to operate and run the equipment/experiments.Available Shift: Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For consideration ALL applicants must apply through our careers website:https://phf.tbe.taleo.net/phf02/ats/careers/v2/viewRequisition?org=EMSL&cws=40&rid=4279 EMSL offers full time benefits: medical, dental, 401 (k), voluntary benefits, paid time off, holiday pay, flexible spending account.To find out more about EMSL Analytical, Inc. please visit our website at: www.emsl.com EOE including Veterans and Disabled
