Position Summary Depending upon the desired qualifications of the successful applicant, the hiring manager may elect to fill this position at a higher level within the job hierarchy. Provide analytical support for developing and obtaining regulatory approval to implement new, or modifying existing, energy efficiency and demand response (EE/DR) programs, and other customer programs across all Duke Energy jurisdictions. Develop annual and hourly EE savings forecasts to support the Load Forecasting and Integrated Resource Planning organizations. Support the development of Market Potential Studies. Responsibilities Collaborating with Solutions Development and program management to plan, design and evaluate new, or modify existing EE/DR programs, and other customer programs Developing long-term forecasts of EE program savings and costs to support each company's Load Forecast and Integrated Resource Plan Working with external consultants to produce EE/DR Market Potential Studies Collaborating with Load Forecasting, Resource Planning, Regulatory and other areas as needed to develop required modeling inputs and/or communicate results Using the DSMore model to evaluate program cost-effectiveness under the Total Resource Cost, Utility Cost, Rate Impact Measure and Participant tests Developing Scenario Tools and Summary files to assist program management design and evaluate various program scenarios, and easily identify key outputs Proposing innovative strategies to enhance program value Implementing productivity improvements Oversee regulatory proceeding including responding to regulatory data requests, testimony support and witness preparation Communicating study results to management, internal customers, external stakeholders and regulatory agencies Note: This posting is for one position.
