Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

The Sr. Financial Analyst reporting to the Finance Manager is responsible for providing financial, operational and analytical support to key clients, both externally and internally throughout the organization. This position will primarily support our growing Project Management Organization. The Sr. Financial Analyst will work to ensure a superior understanding of the economic ramifications of all business decisions. This role is critical in the budgeting/forecasting process as well as monthly business review preparation and the month end close process. Special Project, ad hoc and strategic initiative related work is also a key aspect of this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial and operational presentations for business reviews. Present and drive financial communication of PMO business unit performance

  • Drive project and project team profitability through analysis and understanding variances in expenses to budget, forecast and prior year and recommend appropriate actions

  • Drive operational performance by developing, maintaining and presenting key operational reporting tools to insure key account KPI compliance. This includes building and maintenance of Power BI Dashboard suite

  • Manage formal budget and forecast process including the preparation of detailed variance explanations on all P&L activity

  • Special Project, ad hoc and strategic initiative related work

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting

  • Minimum of 5 Years of Related FP&A Experience

  • Expert Level Excel and Power Point Skills. Tableau / Power BI Experience highly preferred

  • Ability to multi-task and work in matrix-organization

  • Focuses on the achievement of objectives and standards. Experience in process improvement and maximizing profitability

  • Builds and maintains relationships with both internal and external customers and works with them to meet or exceed their expectations

  • Ability to travel for client meetings and business reviews. Estimated travel of 20%

  • Strong public speaking skills

  • Attention to detail and time management, as well as effective meeting management
