Position : Retail Sales Manager

Location : Cincinnati, OH

Job Purpose :

The Sales Manager assists in supporting day-to-day operations of the retail stores, including sales achievement, Inventory management, and quality metrics. Sales Managers are expected to coach and develop the Connected Solutions Consultants within their retail location(s). They are responsible for on-the-sales-floor training of new employees as well as continuous coaching of all consultants within their locations.

Essential Functions :

  • Assist in day-to-day store operations including but not limited to opening, closing, inventory procedures, security, merchandising, and out of balance reporting

  • Lead the retail sales team to achieve sales/retention targets and deliver exceptional customer service

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability

  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and develop action plans

  • Set performance expectations, establish clear sales goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations for team members

  • Create and maintain a positive and motivated work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration

  • Provide regular sales reports and analysis to upper management, highlighting key performance metrics and suggesting strategies for improvement

  • Responsible for the penetration rates of surrounding areas around their stores location

  • Continued focus on resweep areas to increase current penetration results

  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment, encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and the sharing of knowledge and best practices among sales team members

  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales team members, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted training plans

Education :

Four years of High School or equivalent

Experience :

  • 3 to 5 years of experience

  • Previous sales experience

  • Previous retail management experience preferred

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Thorough understanding of all aspects of the store POS system, including sales order entry, returns, exchanges, cash management reports, inventory management, and reports and other applications as they may be developed

  • Understands current technology and applications

  • Demonstrate superior team skills that lead and support other team members in our mission to serve the customer and operate a highly professional store operation

  • Attain sales and service goals as defined by store manager and customer feedback

  • Provide consistent documented customer sales and service follow up

  • Successfully demonstrate a superior application of all training provided
