Details: A Financial & Accounting Data Analyst (Earned Value Management) job in Windsor, CT is currently available at Belcan Engineering. This is a full time, direct position with benefits. To be considered, you will need an Associate Degree and at least two years of project experience working with EVMS, financial, and/or accounting data analysis. In this role you will support our large aerospace customer with earned value (EV) project management-related tasks. Job Duties: * Download monthly actuals from central tracking system * Prepare and provide compliance analysis of Performance Index Report (PIR) for Control Account Manager (CAM) review * Prepare Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for CAM review and update based upon actuals * Reconcile hardware Quantifiable Backup Data (QBD) with actuals and estimates to update hardware IMS * Upload performance data, Estimated Actuals (EA), IMS, and Estimate To Complete (ETC) into central tracking system and generate final PIR * Month-over-month Estimate At Completion (EAC) analysis to identify out of line spending * Work with CAMs to identify baseline account changes required for Budget Change Requests (BCRs) * Update IMS and create draft tracking system file for customer review * Upload approved files into tracking system and provide formal documentation * Run, analyze and discuss potential issues and discrepancies within the weekly actuals reports with the respective CAMs * Update various reports and tools for all maintained accounts * Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) dictionary updates * Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RAM) maintenance Required: * Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a Finance, Accounting, or Business major * Minimum of 10 years of practical, relevant EVMS experience * Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel -especially the ability to create and maintain macros, pivot tables and analyze data * Strong Microsoft office product skills * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Highly organized and ability to follow up to close gaps prior to deadlines * Ability to understand and meet critical customer deadlines * Strong team player * Strong Customer focus * Forward thinking Preferred: * Ability to write scripts and SQL queries * High level of experience working in SAP * Ability to identify productivity improvement opportunities We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $52,000 to $72,800.
