This can pay out up to 9% of your annual income POSITION SUMMARY As part of the Site Leadership Team reporting to the Plant Manager and leading a team of 3 - 5 (quality engineers, quality coordinators), the Site Quality Manager is the site leader for all things quality, inclusive of quality assurance, quality control, and quality improvement. The most successful candidates will be managers who deeply understand and appreciate systems thinking (people and processes) and possess knowledge of variation to include predictive ability. The Site Quality Manager develops, implements, and manages quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications (consistent with established standards, customer specifications and Cremer goals). This role engages suppliers and customers with limited travel expectations ( POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education, Credentials, Licenses: B.A. or B.S degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. Kind & Length of Experience: 2+ years recruiting/talent acquisition experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. B.A. or B.S degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. 7+ years of progressive experience managing quality control in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Experience with ISO 9001, SQF, HACCP, GMP, IPEC, and other quality programs (e.g., Halal, Kosher, RSPO). Supervised/Managed a staff of 5 or more. Chemical processing experience and/or knowledge of chemistry are highly valued. PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS Seek and implement innovative methods to identify and attract qualified candidates.
