Our client is an industry/global leader in fragrances as well as taste. Their sole purpose is to provide customers with a broad range of solutions that match the demand for clean, organic and natural ingredients. This company is looking for a Quality Lab Analyst to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work with one of the biggest companies in the flavor and fragrances industry.

Shift: M-F, 8-4:30 (during training), 12-8:30 (post training)

Pay: $26-$29/hr

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and documents non-conforming products, makes minor batch modifications

  • Assists with troubleshooting, performs equipment calibrations and adjustments

  • Records test results, communicates non-conformances to higher-level personnel

  • Performs a variety of equipment calibrations and makes minor adjustments and p/m as needed.

  • Adheres to relevant requirements: GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, GLP, internal safety guidelines

  • Attends training sessions, implements Lean concepts

  • Acts as authorized trainer for Associate Quality Lab Analysts

  • Performs assigned tasks

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, scientific college degree preferred

  • 1-7 years of micro laboratory and/or industry experience preferred

  • No food allergies

  • Strong written and verbal English skills, ability to understand technical documentation

  • Intermediate SAP experience required

  • Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Drive
