About the role:

As a Payroll Coordinator for TQL, you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll transactions. You will ensure timely and precise processing of payroll data, adherence to payroll regulations, and effective communication with employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

What you'll be doing:

  • Process multi-state payroll transactions for hourly and salaried employees accurately and timely using Workday
  • Format and import payroll data into Workday
  • Audit and resolve time sheet exceptions
  • Process financial employment verifications
  • Process payroll garnishment orders
  • Process terminations and final pay in a timely manner based on various state laws
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a professional and timely manner
  • Serve as a liaison with other departments, units, or locations in the resolution of payroll issues
  • Participate in payroll-related projects and initiatives as needed

What you need:

  • 3+ years of payroll or related experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems; Workday is a plus
  • Proficient in all aspects of payroll
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain confidential information is of extreme importance
  • Strong work ethic and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (face to face and phone)
  • Impeccable organizational skills
