0 Night Shift Maintenance Tech II Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Lead person, The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all facilities within our bottling facility. We are looking for someone that will help with the daily maintenance of all machines in the Bottling facility. This will be a day shift position working a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Associates degree preferred 2-3 Years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience working with high speed packaging equipment preferred. Previous HMI experience is preferred Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude required Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Performance Measures & Standards Perform routine maintenance on high speed packaging equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with packaging equipment Perform preventative maintenance on packaging equipment Assist with installation and setup of new packaging equipment Assist production with setup and adjustments of packaging equipment Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that manufacturing and facility equipment continue to operate safely and efficiently. Monitors and replaces light bulbs in all assigned facilities, as needed. Makes minor plumbing repairs, as needed. Coordinates and assists with departmental and employee moves. Performs basic electrical work and determines when an electrician is required. Hangs pictures and shelving, as needed. Dismantles and installs furniture. Transports goods or equipment as assigned. Performs immediate cleaning duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor ro Manager. Record keeping to include department inventory and maintenance work order system. In you absence, you are to ensure that the tasks assigned to you are adequately covered by trained personnel. You are responsible to communicate and work with your manager to ensure your workload is covered when you are out. Light mechanical duties may be required. Complete preventative maintenance activities per schedule. Prioritize safety work orders commensurate with risk. Complete work orders on time with consideration to establish priorities. Adhere to all Environmental, Health, Safety, Security Requirements covered under Local, State, and Federal Regulations. Follow all RC14001 guiding principles, policies, procedures, and other requirements. Maintain hazardous waste in accordance with all Local, State, and Federal Regulations. Other duties as assigned. Customer Service, Teamwork & Code of Conduct Maintain a safe, legal and environmentally protective operation. Listen to our customers, suppliers and employees. Respond quickly to customer concerns. Follow set guidelines for GMP, quality and food safety requirements. Maintain training on applicable procedures in quality, GMP, and food safety.
