Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Maintenance Engineer includes, but is not limited to, providing technical support for maintenance and operations, designing, and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical components and systems, performing mechanical load ratings of various systems, designing and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems, designing and troubleshooting pumping systems, capital project management and assisting with set up of preventative and predictive maintenance programs by applying engineering principles and practices and demonstrating high level of project management leadership.

  • Design and implementation of new systems and modification of existing equipment

  • Improve production and maintenance processes, keeping accurate documentation for all improvements in the area of responsibility.

  • Provide technical expertise with regard to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

  • Failure analysis/troubleshooting

  • Work in cooperation with other departments or teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

  • 2-3 years of experience in Manufacturing industry or related experience.

  • Experience with 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works or Inventor)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the Heavy Manufacturing.

  • Demonstrated problem solving techniques and root cause identification.

  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience, PMP certification is a plus.
