IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY: Gentherm Medical is looking for an innovative Finance leader who can raise issues, question decisions, and challenge leadership and cross functional teams to drive productivity and profitability. This person is responsible for business budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis. This individual will also drive standardization in processes across the Medical entities, as well as aligning with our overall company goals. This role is critical to the organization as it connects senior management's long term strategic goals to reality. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain Gentherm Medical multi-year financial forecasting, including annual staffing plans, detailed analysis of revenue and expense, pro forma financial projections, and financial health and sustainability. Responsible for finance deliverables such as, month end close, planning/budget activities for the Global Medical business. Plan, conduct, and coordinate all Gentherm Medical financial analysis and reporting services to provide the Executive Director, Finance and SVP, Gentherm Medical with accurate and timely data for the interpretation and evaluation of operations. Regular communication and alignment for all reporting aspects with Corporate. Improve productivity through standard reporting tools, benefiting all functions of the business. Deliver robust financial analysis of risks and benefits for all major business initiatives to support the decision-making process. Provide strategic finance and accounting direction and oversight of a $20M budget. Create M&A and R&D business cases and financial models. Anticipate internal or external business challenges/regulatory issues and make recommendations. Capable of resolving complex or unusual business problems, while applying advanced analytical thought and judgment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Finance 5-10 years of financial (including accounting) experience supporting manufacturing operations and distribution ERP/Data Analytics Implementation experience Strong communication skills Cross-functional team player Report writing skillset for data analytics Process minded individuals with initiative to streamline processes PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: CPA preferred but not required MBA Six Sigma Certification; Lean foundation (six sigma, A3 process thinking) Gentherm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
