Cleaning Technologies Group Field Installation Technician in Cincinnati, Ohio

Summary:

Garment field installation technician is responsible for assisting with the installation of garment machines at customer sites around the country.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Execute the installation of Cintas garment handling machines throughout the United States. Responsibilities to include; unloading, spotting, mechanical reassembly, network connection and communication verification and final checkout of equipment.

  2. Coordinate installation activites with the Program Manager, End Customer and Cintas team.

  3. Provide onsite demonstration to machine users, Cintas MAMs and SSRs, and end user personnel.

  4. Perform onsite mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting.

  5. Perform basic controls troubleshooting and program updates.

  6. Perform comprehensive post install inspection of the equipment and complete a formal Cintas Engineering signoff document.

  7. Prepare service reports for all work done in the field and submit to Cintas Engineering.

  8. Prepare and submit expense reports for expenses accumulated while in the field.

  9. Make travel arrangements and manage an efficient travel schedule.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Travel Requirements:

50%-75%

Qualifications/Skills:

Basic understanding of computer operating systems, networking, connectivity, and troubleshooting.

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma required. Preference is to have diploma / degree in a technical field.

Language Skills:

Communicate verbally and in writing in English.

Mathematical Skills:

Add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Reasoning Ability:

Identify work process problems and possible solutions.
