Job Description:

The Electronic Inventory Clerk will be responsible for warehousing activities which include the receipt, movement, and storage of raw materials and finished goods to ensure optimal organization and efficiency of logistics functions to support manufacturing operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Process material from Ready for Stores (RFS) status and material returns to ensure they are physically and electronically moved in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) database to a valid warehouse location.

  • Pull material in accordance with First-In/First-Out (FIFO) methodology for Manufacturing Orders, Additional Material Requests (AMRs), and Scrap Replacement Requests.

  • Pick electronic material for production kits.

  • Issue components to Shop Orders in the WMS System.

  • Count reeled electronic components and PWBs via x-ray, reel counter, and by hand.

  • Reconcile material kits after Automated Electronics runs are complete.

  • Complete put-away of incoming electronic components.

  • Perform Cycle Counts of Stock on Hand.

  • No travel required, occasional overtime.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

  • Requires strong accurate counting ability, attention to detail, flexibility to changing priorities, strong customer focus, and mid-level problem solving ability skills.

  • Should have a proven track record of reliability and have demonstrated the ability to pay attention to detail along with solid organization skills that surpass that of his/her peers.

  • Perform tasks using ladder with possible heights up to 10 ft.

  • Capable of bending, twisting, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

  • Using WMS System (Costpoint/Cognos) and process transations electronically and physically to ensure overall inventory accuracy.

  • Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.

    Qualifications:

  • Requires developing job knowledge and skills, typically obtained by a combination of education and experience.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of four (4) years of prior Shipping and/or Receiving experience.

  • 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with zero (0) to two (2) years of prior Shipping and/or Receiving experience.

  • 2 years or more experience with basic/intermediate Microsoft and computer knowledge.

  • Must be able to successfully complete PIV training and qualify on the equipment (WAVE) within 45 days of on-the-job training.

  • Must be a United States Citizen.

  • Must be able to qualify as an ATF Responsible Person.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Prior PIV training.
