UC HEALTH LLC Educational Placements Manager in CINCINNATI, Ohio

UC Health is hiring a full time Educational Placements Manager Responsible for coordination and management of the clinical and non-clinical learners, internships, and Co-Ops placements within UC Health facilities. The manager will be responsible for managing compliance of all the learners and observers within UC Health and be responsible for developing and fostering partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree - Healthcare/Business Related.
  • Minimum Required: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: 6 - 10 Years equivalent experience.

Develop corporate policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to support the UCH requirements for students and audit colleges/universities/partnering entities to the standard. Identify access inconsistencies (i.e., Epic, OneTouch, Parking and Badging, etc.) and work with system partners to implement procedures. Manage and authorize all UCH observers, by working with providers and associates to ensure appropriate documentation, including Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Centers (CMS) and Joint Commission regulations. Maintain inventory of available clinical placement opportunities and coordinate learner placement through an automated dashboard encompassing all learner placements. Manage monthly compliance audits, enforcing all contractual requirements. External and Internal Partnerships: Collaborate and interact with the four UC academic colleges and campuses (i.e., medicine, nursing, allied health, and pharmacy). Build the relationship between the UC college coordinators and our providers within UC Health. Liaison to external academic colleges and programs, collaborating and managing current and future relationships for placement in the healthcare system. Management of system partner relationships across the enterprise. Building internal relationships and opportunities for staff professional growth and development through educational cohorts. 30% 3 Job Function: Program Management Manage and develop the Healthcare Exploration Program, for growth and stainability, by managing daily operations (i.e., Recruitment, Schedules, Payroll, Unit Coordination, and Employee Relations). Manage and coordinate the Educational Cohort Program, in collaboration with area colleges and universities, UC Health Benefits, and respective departments. Manage and develop internships, Co-ops, fellowships, and longitudinal experiences for learners from the high school level to the post-graduate level. Leadership: Manage, support and mentor direct reports. Delegate responsibility to effectively, manage team members and team tasks.
