WSP USA Civil Engineer in Cincinnati, Ohio

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform design tasks and drawings using computer-aided design (CADD) related to the development of transportation, site development, and stormwater improvement projects in Microstation OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Lead tasks and coordinate with design teams

• Support preparation of final design plans, cost estimates and special provisions

• Develop memorandums and other written technical documents

• Determine client requirements and contribute to the development of scopes, schedules, and budgets

• Develop relationships with clients to achieve WSP's business development goals

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• 3+ years’ experience in transportation/civil engineering

• EIT registration

• Good technical writing, analytical and communication skills

• Experience leading design tasks

• Proficiency in Microstation OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

• Proven track record upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer or intent to obtain within 1-2 years

• Experience in OpenRoads and Civil 3D

• Experience working with DOTs, airports, transit agencies, and other local agencies
